HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Appointments can be scheduled by clicking on the 'Request Appointment' link below. Select 'free 15 minute consult' to get started and determine if this is a good fit for you. If you are an established client, you can scroll up to the top of this page and click on 'Client Portal' in the upper right hand corner, to log into your account. Then click on 'Im an Existing Client' and then log in using your email or a Google account. From there you can request appointments, or cancel/reschedule existing appointments.

HOW WILL I PAY FOR THERAPY?

Therapy is a personal commitment to your self and your future. Starting therapy is hard enough, let alone figuring out how to pay for it. Talk to us to see what your options are. Click on the button below to read about therapy fees and investment.

Therapy is for EVERYONE. People of all ages and from all walks of life can benefit.

Research from multi-disciplinary fields have shown that therapy has numerous advantages to promote over-all health and well-being.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THERAPY?

Since therapy is for EVERYONE of all ages the benefits are numerous. Below are just a few:

To manage stress, regulate emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and self-care practices.

To navigate endings and beginnings in life, hardships, and emotional distress.

To understand who you are, your unique story, and how that shaped you into the person you are today.

To challenge negative core beliefs and that inner critic that can become too loud.

To understand how your body is holding onto the effects of trauma and stress.

To dismantle societal messages and learn to show up as your authentic, beautiful self.

To better understand your children, be present, and develop new parenting skills.

WHAT AGES DO YOU WORK WITH?  

At this time I have chosen to focus on individuals aged 13 through adult. I am not accepting children at this time because sometimes young kids can struggle to stay engaged on telehealth.  Schedule a free 15 minute consult with me to see if it therapy will be a good fit for you or your teen. 

TELEHEALTH THERAPY

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TELEHEALTH?

Online therapy expands access to mental health services for individuals who need it most. People with transportation barriers or those living in rural areas where there may not be as many providers to choose from can benefit. Modern life has also become very busy, so telehealth allows you to log in during a lunch break, after meetings as you work from home, between soccer practice and rehearsals, or even from your ice fishing shack (yes, that has been my favorite client telehealth location)!

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO BE IN THERAPY?

Typically, sessions occur every other week, or weekly. The frequency of sessions depends on the progress you make on your goals for therapy. This could take anywhere from 6 sessions to a year or more. The duration depends on a number of factors such as attachment style,  mental health status, life changes, and degree of commitment.  After progress is made in therapy  we plan for your last session and may make the decision to  meet less frequently (1x monthly) before having a final termination therapy session.
